Default ::O2 Sensor? [B16A]::

Hey Guys,

I have been having a bad bogging problem with my B16A. It only does this when I am consistant in the throttle. This is the thing though. How many O2 Sensors are hooked up to the HEADER. I only have one hooked up. I have a friend that tells me that my other O2 Sensor is not hooked up and that is the reason. What do you guys think??? I would appreciate any comments on this subject. Thank you for your time.

OBD1 = 1 O2 Sensor
OBD2 = 2 O2 Sensors

What year is your car? Are you taking about two in the manifold, or one upstream and one downstream?

Obviously you have a first gen B16a (cable tranny and all).
You have to have both 02 sensors hooked up or the car will bog under light acceleration. It runs one pair of cylinders 20% rich while the other two run 20% lean.
Also, if you go ahead and put both sensors and you still have the same problem, switch the two wires around.

I am having a similar bog problem. I bought the car (1990 Crx Dx B16) with the motor already in. I pulled the o2 wires off today too see if it affected anything, and the bogging seemed a tad bit worse. I will try to switch the wires.....Thanks for the non directed advice.
