Ok, so im coming into some money here soon about 600 dollars.. and i need some ideas on what i should get for my motor.. its an 95 h22a in a 97 civic ex coupe, i wanna get about 40-80 hp and 20-60 tq outta this or more if i can.. i have intake and exhaust no headers yet seeing as i wanna wait till i turbo it, seeing as hopefully this will by december or so.. im am getting it tuned in about a week or two.. thanks for all the help...

600 dollars, you'd be lucky to get 10 whp honestly.

For one, the stock header is very restrictive if you do motor work.

If I were you I'd either save the 600 dollars aside for when you get some more cash, since buying a header would be redundant if you're going turbo. It's also not good for you to raise compression or do any valvetrain work considering going turbo usually is best to lower compression.

I suggest you get aesthetic upgrades. Chip for ECU, upgrade fuel rail, spark plug wires, better plugs, intake manifold maybe?

Don't expect an HP gain with 600 bucks though, especially if you're going turbo in the future.

Nitrous is the only thing that will get you those kinds of gains for that much money. You could also probably get some head work done, but I doubt you would see more than 15whp out of it.

This is why I abandoned by GSR--too much $$$ to get any decent power out of it.
