Lets say I have 6 grand to buy an engine, do what ever mods and install to an EG civic hatch... what setup would you pick and why?

Reason for my asking is because I am stuck between 3 setups that I would like to have... too bad I don't have 3 civics and lots of money :D

I would do a built GSR with turbo setup. There is much proof that you can have a fast and light car puttin down like 300+ to the wheels and still have it as your daily driver.. Plus the sound of turbo is like GGGGOOOLLLDDDD..

 

go ls/vtec all motor done right very reliable and LOTS of torque

 

wait..u said u had 6 grand to do wutever u want just to the engine? or 6 grand for car and engine? if it was 6 grand for engine...i would do LS/VTEC turbo. damn....i wish i had that kind of money. i'm struggling just to buy headers! good luck on ur project though. wutever u pick...its gonna be fun....

 

actually it is more like 5 grand just for the engine. I am going to sell my accord, get an EG and go from there the 3 things I was thinking was

H22a
B18c1 turbo (small boost)
H23 Turbo

i love these motors! have you ever been in a type-r powered hatch???? HOLY **** they rip!!! and they arre very reliable! an LS/VTEC wont be very reliable unless you build it.
