Need some help....VIN question
Sorry if this is a little bit off topic. I wasn't sure which forum to put it in. 
Late last year I had my Integra stolen, but I recovered it. Everything was taken except for some of the interior, but most of all the engine was still in the car. I now have an EG and am planning on rebuilding the engine and dropping it in there. When everything is done I want everything to be legit so I'm going to have it reffed. My problem is though that the VIN plate was taken off the transmission when it was stolen. Is there anywhere else on the engine that would have the VIN so that they know that its my engine under there? Or am I just plain **** out of luck? I still have the pink slip and everything. Thanks in advance.
