I'm not sure what all engines were available in Israel, but as mentioned the D16Y8 1.6L SOHC VTEC or your equivalent of would be best. This will keep you from having to change the tranny, axles, etc. that is required with a B series swap. Do the SOHC VTEC swap and piece together a turbo setup and I'm sure you'll be pleased.

will you be doing the work yourself????

if so then you should understand just how hard it is to do this alone for the first time

if you are paying someone to do it then do it right the first time do not pay someone to put in a zc or d16 engine that is a waste of money and labor, just get the b16 but even still i would suggest a gsr b18c1

what i am trying to say is either do it right the first time and get something you will be very happy with and know the investment brought you joy then to spend a little bit less of money and just be kind of happy and not fully excited about your car

i am in the middle of my swap and i'm miserable because i realize that i should have just saved for a little bit longer and got the better engine

I'd say go for it because you don't really have anything to lose. If you tune it (even just a street tune with a wideband) with a program such as Uberdata, Hondata, etc. you should be safe as long as you don't go too high with the boost. Later on you'll be able to transfer the turbo kit over to the SOHC VTEC motor if you so choose to do the swap. You could also swap it over to a B series by changing the manifold and some minor downpipe and charge pipe mods.

that turbo wont spool at all on a d14. your best bet is to swap it.
