I have a B16A3 I/H/E that has been running fine for quite a while now... I recently put a skunk2 manifold on it with a maxbore throttlebody 68mm... anyways I ran the car orignally for a few miles and the car was running a little rough but i figured to warm it up since it hadn't been ran in weeks, randomly I get a CEL for "knock sensor" so... I put the stock T/B on it for ***** and giggles to see if anything was different, reset the ecu and now I get knock sensor CEL every startup... So im at a dead end as of not knowing if the knock sensor is detecting a knock or if I need to replace the knock sensor? I'm hoping someone has had a similar problem or something and can help me out...

I am having the same problem with my b16a skunk2 cams and manifold also, but stock throttle body, i'm also getting a code 23 every time i run the engine, no clue what the deal is.

It runs fine, lots of vibration, but I assume that's just because of the hasport mounts.

 

Now I replaced the knock sensor. Night and day difference, SO much more power now, and the added bonus of no CEL.
