Default Need help with h22 swap

hey i started my h22 swap today and i ran into a few problems, first off the engine is a 2000 usdm using the external coil and the car is a 92 honda civic hatch, im using my ex/si engine harness to do the wiring but im having trouble wiring the distributor because of the obd2 external coil ditributor is there anyway to wire this up without having to replace the dist. to an obd1 unit? if not what dist would fit? second problem is extending the alternator wire the 2 plugs are different but i cut the plug off the prelude wire harness and was going to rewire it, theres the same amount of wires on both ends but the color of the wires dont match up, does anybody have a color diagram or something? thanks

Dont know about the dizzy. But as for the alt, all you have to do is lay the two connectors side by side (making sure they are laying exactly the same way), then cut and solder wire by wire.

Yep Audiofuct is right about the alternator. Just match the pinouts on the plug. The colors should match.

As for the distributor, I would get an obd1 jdm h22 dizzy. it's internal coil., and it'll plug right up to your obd1 ex/si harness. you can also get a jdm h22 obd2 dizzy, and just re-pin the plug with also color match.

Um, it's the same as a 92-95 Civic distributor. I ordered it from Bert-o and it got to me in two days. $16
