You need to put the motor in the same way as any other motor swap..... tighten the rear crossmember mount, tighten the transmission bracket, start the bolts on the tranny mount. Put the motor in and first bolt the rear tranny bracket to the rear mount but just start the bolt and don't torque it down (if you tighten any bolts down, which is sounds like you're doing, then the motor will be very hard to move around). After the rear is in, then do both sides.... put the tranny mount in and put the driver side mount in but just start the bolts, don't tighten down yet. After you get the motor mounted in and the bolts started, now tighten them all down to spec.
A common problem people always run into when doing the EG-AT mount swap, if the motor is already in, is that they don't loosen up the other motor mounts and then complain that the mount is off. With any motor mounts, stock or aftermarket, if you don't loosen anything up it'll be next to impossible to move the motor around into the position that you want it in. If you've done motor swaps in the past, then you know what I'm talking about.
Thanks

well i got it to work last night....my uncle had to come over and re-fab it.....that thing was way off ....if it was supposed to be a good fit i shouldnt have to go through a certain process to get the mount on...it should be like a stock mount...i should be able to put them in any order i want just like stock ones.....im not sayin the ones u guys got are off im just sayin i think mine got messed up when they made it ....cuz it not like its CNC machined or anything.....a human made it and he could of easily made a mistake...but i got it to work and the car will be runnin to today
thanks for all ur help
thanks for all ur help
Alright..I got everything in and it runs...but the only way i can start my car is if the sensor for the auto shifter are plugged in...Is there any way to by-pass it? Please let me know
Thanks
Thanks
cut the wires from the plug, so you have about 5 inches of extra wire.
connect the 2 fat wires together, this is so you can start the car
then conect the black wire, with the green/black wire, so your car thinks its in park.
thats it. ready to rock!!
