motor mount Q??

Default motor mount Q??

whats crackalackin'! quick question on motor mounts.umm im gonna try an explain where they are this is going to sound retarded. they are two little mounts on the bottom front of the motor. one is on the tranny and the other is on the motor they bolt to the underside of the unibody. are these mounts necessary? if u dont understand ill send a pic. thanks

yes, those are the torque mounts... VERY important.

What some people do to eliminate those mounts is get aftermarket rear tranny and rear engine mount, then they don't use front lower engine bracket/mount.

The tranny one tho I would use still

if u get a mount kit like hasport or even the prothane insert kit, u don't need those two small torque mounts. The other mounts will eliminate engine movement and torquing. Keep them if u have stock mounts tho.
