Default Motor Mount Problem

I am about to pick up some Stock GSR Motor mounts for my sawp. The guy I am buying them off of has told me that the mount on the driver side, closest to the headlight has a little problem. The rubber that is inside the mount is crack.

Is this a big problem? Will it work? Does it need to be fixed? Help

How much is your friend going to charge you for the mounts? I'm not sure if you can buy inserts, or something, for those mounts. I'd deffinately check with acura to see how much they might charge you for that mount new. It will probably hold up for a little while without any problems, thus giving you time to save more money for a new one. Good Luck, I hope that this helps!

you can replace the stock rubber inside that mount with poly bushings from Energy suspension or Prothane, not sure if both compaines have them but I have read threads in the ITR forum where people swapped the poly's into the stock mounts casing and they were very firm, not too expensive either. A lot of vibration though. I bet acura only sells complete mounts for big dollars too.

The rubber that is inside on of the Mounts (rear) is cracked. If i buy new inserts will that replace that? Are they called bushings or inserts?
