I have a question. I have an all original 1990 Honda civic hatch "EF". I wanted to see if I did the mini me swap to my D15B2, would I have to swap my automatic trans for a manual trans? I don't know too much about cars I admit, I just want to know what I need to make this swap complete. If I can keep my automatic "although not ideal" and not have to tear my car up too much that'd be great. Any answers are much appreciated.

it does not matter if your auto or manual a vtec head swap is just a head swap has absolutley nothing to do with your gear box
