I'm doing a d16z6 head on B7 block swap on my 94 del sol. Now, I've searched and haven't found much info on doing the swap and using the SFC-VTEC to engage vtec. Say what you will about it, I've had the controller in my garage for years now and if I can use what I have rather than spend more money on another ECU, awesome. My question is, what distributor should I use? Will my b7 dizzy fit on the z6 head? If anyone has more info on this setup, it would be greatly appreciated.

im sure more people would have replied to you if you made the title of your thread something related to your question about dizzys...

it actually sounds like you want someone to tell you to use a P28 and throw that piece of **** controlled in the garbage.

but anyways



no a D15B7 dizzy will not bolt to a D16Z6 cylinder head.

you need a D16Z6 or D15Z1 dizzy housing, and you can swap the guts from your B7 dizzy over... or just get a complete z6/z1 dizzy.
