Default Mini me question

A friend is doing a mini me swap and was wondering if he could put the a6 head off a 89 si hatch onto the d16z6 block out of a 95 ex civic sedan. Would it be possible to make this work or no? what would we do about the difference between the obd0 and obd1 heads? is it possible to go from obd1---> obd0?

Yes it will work, basically just the reverse of a mini-me. The cylinder head has nothing to do with OBD, it's the sensors and accesories on the motor that makes the difference. If you reuse the OBD1 intake manifold and all accessories then there would be no need to make any other changes.
