LS/VTEC questions...
k so i am goin to be switching to LS VTEC soon...I have a built block that has like 3,000 miles on it. It is a B18B with rods, pistons, rings, blah blah blah...Now when they do rods, they come with ARP rod bolts right? And what about main bolts? Should those be upgraded? And I have heard some stuff about the girdle..do I have to have one of those? I am only going to rev to stock B16 redline..8200
thanks, and sorry if this stuff has been covered

I ordered eagle rods and they came with arp rod bolts. Those b18c girdles don't fit without modification. I won't be using one, but i did upgrade to a b16 oil pump. You're getting your bottom end balanced, right?

What about the entire rotating assembly? If you're putting different rods and pistons in there, you should get the entire thing balanced.
