Default LS/Vtec fuel pump?

Hey all,

I'm putting a LS/Vtec in my 93 DX hatch. The engine is a stock 98 B18b with a 00 B16 head. Everything is stock internal. Should my stock pump be fine? My buddy says yes. He built an LSv a few years ago and used the stock pump with no issues.

Just wanting to get HT's opinions.

Thanks.

Yes, your stock fuel pump will be suffient.

Not until you go high compression or add FI, you won't need any more volume of fuel pushed into the motor.

Thanks.

I'm doing my swap in two days. I plan to buy a walbro, but I wanted to know if the stock one will run until it comes in.
