Default ls/vtec custom built engines

I can build ls/vtec engines that are reliable for cheap.
1850 gets you the following:
ls block hones or oversized
ls shot peined rods
pr3 pistons ( spoon jdm itr's add 200)
choice of rings
arp rod and head bolts
stock head gasket ( spoon gasket add 100)
vtec oil pump
external oil line
b16a head or gsr for 150 extra
b16a cams ( gsr's for 100 extra, spoon for 1100 extra, skunk2 for 650 extra)
brand new bearings
all this should net around 170 to the wheels. mine did!

You can specify what you want ie cams, pistons rods, etc. some may cost extra. any questions then email me at paulmet@tampabay.rr.com.

If I am spending almost 2 grand I expect to pull more than 170 to the wheels.

stock gsr motor = 150hp wheels, costs more than 2k
stock itr motor = 17xhp wheels, costs waaaay more than 2k

Tom

i think these engines are a good deal. dunno about who is putting them together, new parts, this and that, but they sound good on paper.

I build my lsvtec for less than that and I pulled 202 to the wheels. I also built my b16 for cheaper than that and I pulled 187 to the wheels out of that

the reason for this price is because it is mostly new stuff. Another thing is of course it will be cheaper if you put it together your self.

Just look around you should be able to find a 89 SiR head for around $200 - $300 on thepartstrader.com I have my own company I make honda and acura parts so I have good contacts for change overs, long blocks, short blocks, and trannys.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...item=596636162 that's a link to a set of cam gears I am selling on ebay that I make.

You say you know where to get shortblocks huh? Well, how much can I get a GSR or B20 shortblock for? I am thinking either a poor mans type-r setup, or a B20 VTEC.

Spoonlsvtec if I supply you with the b16a head, the ctr pistons, crower cams, titanium retainers, dual valve springs, type-r valves, with all of the head componets already installed with also the exhaust and intake manfold.
How much would that be approx??

edited for fairness, I have spoken to SpoonLS/VTEC on IM and he seems like a fair person, I will not pass judgment until I have proof of guilt or innocence.

Hey SpoonLSVtEC,

Can you get deals on headwork? I am swapping a y8 into my crx and would like the head worked a little before installation. I could yank it and bring it down. Can you get head work done also?

Please let me know.
Thanks
Steven
