Default LS/vtec block question

I recently bought a complete xsi (170hp, got LSD too) changeover for my 90' DA9 from Hmotorsonline and I want to go LS/vtec with my stock B18A1 block when I swap the motor in.

My question is what do I need to do to my block so I can safely rev to the B16's stock redline, (or possibly slightly higher)?? I will also probably be boosting later down the road after everything is in my car and running good. I'll be shooting for around 300whp when boosted. So taking all that into consideration what do you guys suggest I do to my stock B18A block?? I want to rev to atleast the stock B16 redline while boosted and keep it reliable. Let me know what you guys would do.

depends on ur budget.. if you dont have much of a budget.. id just install rod bolts and get the rods shot peened and you can safely rev to 8500 rpm

I dont really have a set budget, but the cheaper the better. That doesnt mean I want to skimp out on anything though, I want to do it right the first time around. So thats all I need to do to my block to safely rev to 8500rpms?? And that should be able to handle the boost I'm looking to put on it ok too? That doesnt sound too bad if thats all.

Besides what needs to be done to safely rev higher, what should I do maintence wise to my block while its all apart?? My stock block has 200K on it so I'm sure some stuff needs to be done. It doesnt burn or leak any oil but still, its old and has alot of miles on it so I would like to freshen it up. What should be done?
