Default Limp mode

Hey guys quick question i have a 92 si eg hatch with a fully rebuilt gsr swap and for some reason it wont revv past 3,500 rpms i have stock injectors stock fuel rail stock fuel pressure regulator stock gsr intake manifold

check engine light is on due to o2 sensor not being plugged in.
i used to have a Edelbrock Victor X intake manifold and a 74mm Blox throttle body i got rid of those because i thought that was my problem i l aso had 850cc injectors because my engine sounded like it wasnt getting enough fuel but that wasn't the problem i ended up flooding my engine with gasoline and it got to the point where it wouldnt even crank anymore because of how much fuel was inside the cylinders, anyway fuel problem is now fixed i took the head off and replaced all the seals, but it still wont revv past 3500rpms problem is still there.. wth ? is it on limp mode because i have a wiring issue? i doubt it engine harness is super clean off of a si hatch SOHC, i have done complete tune up and it doesn't sound like its misfiring either at all at idle engine sounds perfectly fine. what do you guys t hink ?

Did you ever plug in the O2 sensor? My B16 had the same issue, plugged the O2 sensor back in and reset the ECU. That fixed it.

Im gonna try that tomorrow bro I've heard people say that before didn't really think about it but I will try it im using a SOHC VTEC harness so the O2 is supposed to plug in to the front of the headers and since my engine is b series it has the O2 sensor underneath the car so im gonna have to cut it And add some wire to make it longer so I can plug it in but I will definetly keep you guys updated and see what the problem is so others can find this useful when they Google it if they have the same problem
