Default Let's discuss - h2b header solutions

Can we collect some info on JUST header info?

The h2b thread is too full for my brain to comprehend anymore.....

First of all who offers an h2b specific header?

I know RMF
i believe sixsigma does

anyone else?

Anyone try any home brewed methods?

I plan to use a Hotshot header(4-1, 2.5 collector). On a normal H22 swap in a civic, the collector aims downward as it is not supposed to be attached to the exhaust, I beleive with the new angle of the motor with the H2B kit, it should line up pretty close. Thats what I am hoping anyways, we will just have to wait and see.

im sure you can prob call a lot of header place like SMSP, HYTECH, etc. and heave them make you a custom header, you might have to get your car towed there or something, i wouldnt know but im sure they would do it.

Six Sigma makes them now as well

a cheaper option is just to modify a DC, OBX or megan header.

Keep in mind the SSR and RMF headers were designed around the QSD kit. Motor placement is clearly different with the other kit.

We sold one of our H22A 4-2-1 Headers to an EG I believe with H2B I will let you guys know how it works out. The 360* pivot on our donut style collector should compensate the angle difference with the H2B tilt. Our headers also hug the pan nicely about 1/4". Like I have mentioned before both stock internal JDM h22's we tested on made over 200 whp with i/h/e. Good for stock to mild builds. Small primaries up top, tapper bored at the flange into 2" runners then into true 2.5" collector.

This is the new H22 header from http://Camp1320.com. Available with a 2.5" or 3" collector for H22 or H2B swaps. MSRP is $595 but if you talk to Tom @ Camp1320, just tell him to give you the ALL MOTOR RANDY price! Get em while they're hot!!!!

That header looks nice, I will admit that...but it's still in the dark...we haven't seen any dyno's of it on a built or stock setup...that it's proven to make power...I would love to see a dyno of it on a stock engine so we know the gains and how well it will work...also far as how he has the firing order I personally don't think it will flow...I don't know a whole lot but the bigger header Co's I would assume see the same problem...you can't have cyl 4 and 3 together and 2 and 1....

Get some dyno#'s and sheets and post them...it will back up the product for it's worth...and give the product it's full potential...instead of marketing it before hand...

That's exactly what I was going to ask for!
