Default Leaking...

I just finised my B18 swap. The motor runs strong and I fixed every little problem that it had. Everytime I get back from somewhere and check under my car to see if anything is leaking theres oil. The thing is it seems like its spraying everywhere cause its all over my axle (driver side) and its all over the back of the oil pan. It looked like it was coming from the oil filter so i changed it. But it still leaks.

Make sure there isn't an extra oil filter ring gasket on there. I've seen it happen numerous times where the gasket from an old filter stays behind then putting on the new filter doubles it up and it won't form a tight seal. Also make sure you are tightening it enough too, get it hand tight then an extra 1/2 turn or so with an oil wrench to snug it up good.

I thought the same too, but when I replaced the oil filter I felt around to see if there was a oil filter gasket stuck on it and I didn't feel anything. But I'll check it again to make sure.

i checked my old oil filter and it still has the seal on it. So im thinking that i need a new gasket for my oil pan, but after running the car its above the oil pan.

Hey, I know this prob. sounds stupid but it happened to me. Check the seal were the axle goes into the gear box. Could possably be the wrong seal, when I put my motor in the seal for the axle was too big and had to go to the parts store and get the right size. I did'nt realize it till I was first driving it and noticed there was oil everywhere.
Just an Idea, Good luck hope you find it.

Check your hydro lines for your tranny. I use to have that problem with my eg, and for the longest i though it was oil, until finallly i ran out of fluid and had no pressure on my clutch peddle.

Well I found out what was leaking...When i checked around i finally noticed that my oil pressure sensor wasn't bolted on all the way. When i turned it to the left it fell out.
