-K20a3(ep3/rsx base) engine harness
-ep3/rsx stock ecu or Kpro either one
-em2/rsx shifter box and cables
-RBC intake manifold (flow better/more whp/tq)

Re: K20
You sure you want to do an A3? kind of a waste of money, unless you just like the look of a K, without the performance of its bigger brothers.

Re: K20
I took this from wikipedia
K20a3
- Power: 160(120 kW) @ 6500 rpm
- Torque: 142 lb·ft (193 N·m)* (191 N·m) @ 4000 rpm
- Power: 170 hp (130 kW) @ 7800 rpm
- Torque: 116 ft·lbf (157 N·m) @ 7300 rpm
I should be at a good WHP/TQ which Ill be happy with
Plus it's mostly the WOW your Kswapped
Hell A stock b18c5 put a smile on my face and
I've driven my friends k24/20 swapped civic and
my other friends k20a2 swapped both with Kpro & I/H/E
and I dont need the extra power. Plus a k20a3 is cheap to buy
Plus I have about 2k right now set aside to build the b16 but
I can save alittle more and swap a K into the car I always find good deals on the net and my friends and I can do the swap. so I shouldnt have too much into the swap
but dont get me wrong I wont be doing this soon I wanna finsih the car before I do another swap

Re: K20
It will make a great street motor for a good price, I say go for it.
Plenty of aftermarket support for it and you can always turn it into a better motor down the line with a head swap and some oem bottom end parts if you want.

It's a waste of time and money doing a a3. I would go a straight k24 instead. The problem is that you're still spending a ton of money on the k swap parts (which is a fixed cost no matter what k motor you go with) while only just saving a little getting an a3 with very little power (which is the variable in the equation). So I do understand what the guy above is saying about b and d series but k is another league. But hey do what you want. In the long run im pretty sure you'd want more power.

Dont listen to this, same BS was said about non vtec and sohc motors years ago and look at them now.
