Default Just swapped, I need help!!!!

aright i just swapped a b18c in my hatch its throwing out these codes:
#13 = BARO sensor
#14 = IAC valve
#23 = Knock sensor
#41 = o2 sensor

here are my questions -
where is the baro sensor located at?
how can i disable the o2 sensor?
is the baro sensor related to the iac valve?
is it bad to run the car without a o2 sensor and the knock sensor disconnected? what are the systoms.
my car automaticaly die out almost everytime i finish engaging vtec. i really need how to disable the knock sensor cause i am using a stock eh3 Si cat and the cat does have a o2 sensor bung on it. thanks for looking

what ecu are you running? the baro, is the atmospheric pressure sensor, the sensor is actually in the ecu, the iac is the idle air control valve, not sure what its trying to tell you. the knock sensor is saying the engine has detonation, if it is stock internals either you have a bad connection to the sensor or the timing is too advanced, or your running 87 octane and need to use 93. to disable the o2 sensor you need to put a 1k ohm resistor across the heater control wires so the ecu doesn't throw that code. it's not so bad to run without a knock sensor ( the ps8 ecus dont have them at all) but I wouldn't run without an o2 period. the o2 provides feed back to your engine so that you don't run too rich or lean, basically foul some plugs or blow the engine. the knock has nothing to do with your cat. the first thing I would do is to swap your ecu with a known working ecu to eliminate that. the baro code leads me to think ecu problem. if the new ecu is still throwing the same codes check wiring, if wiring is good then grab a maintenance manual cause there are some issues with that engine.

Hi Crank, I believe i was talking to you regarding your d16z with my original account "futomame". I can't get back into that account cause I lost my password and the site won't send it to me. Can we resume talks using email? Please email me at: david@fidelfamily.net.
