i know there's frame damage... but they said its repairable...
should i take it back? ( it had jdm front and i think i get it back)
or should i swap it into a EK hatch? how much would it cost to swap everything into a hatch?(engine, suspension, interrior, brakes, etc..)

swap it. if your a do it yourself kind of person you will save some $$. but if you have a shop do it for you , be prepared to shell out some flow. you thought your R was quick, wait till u drop that in a ek hatch.

ya I agree with the other people. Swap that thing into an EG chassis. The car responds so well when you put that kind of power into it, a vehicle like that with your 'R' motor will pull so hard, and you have so much extreme potential for further improvemnt it isn't even funny. Most people only get to dream about that, you can actually do it. I would!!!
I like the EK setup. Depends on what year your R is. I would prefer the EK, but if is obd2 then you need a obd1 ecu my friend. Everyone here talkn some good stuff thou. My eg is off the hook with just a weight reduction(back seats, spare, and relocated battery in hatch. I could amagine a R motor in that for real. I Its going to cost more to get a EK , unless its a high mile on. Heres a red one, but i prefer black,silver or white, later....

what do you guys think the chances are of my motor and tranny being shot from this accident? (i was going about 5 mph, the other guy about 35, radiator just barely touched the heatshield on header)

eg huh.... i just like the ek style that's all..... so you guys are all saying that the eg would be faster? and which AC compressor wuld i use to have AC in an ek?
putting my c5 into an EK hatch only makes my car a teeny bit faster than a real ITR doesn't it? if in which is true... i'm just gonna look for another ITR
I think if you want it real fast, dump everything into an EG hatchback.. but if you want the looks of a CTR to go with the engine, and are willing to sacrifice a few splitseconds (i hear the EK hatch is a *little* bit heavier than the EG hatch) then i'd go for the EK. Of course if it was me, i'd go for the looks and grab an EK hatch
