Default Jdm p72 ?

my jdm b18c is lacking power with the p72 ecu. But my dx ecu runs the engine fine. Is there a difference in a jdm p72 and usdm p72

What differences? I've heard they're designed to run on higher octane fuel, and that they have a fuel cut at around 113. Not sure how much of that is true.
