Default JDM ECUs and wire harness

Hey all, I'm in the process of finding a B18C1 for my 95 Civic EX. Pretty clear on everything, except some wiring. I read on here http://www.jdmhondaparts.com/engine_info.htm that the jdm engine harnesses are not going to work in a USDM car because JDM cars are RHD.

So if I get a JDM engine, what do I have to do for the wire harness and ECU? What, if any manual wiring do I have to do? Somebody clear this up for me, thanks all, keep it real.

Default Re: JDM ECUs and wire harness (CivicEx95)

Just use your Civic harness since you already have Vtec in your car. YOu will need to add a wire for the IAB (secondary butterflies) to A17 and the knock sensor need to go to D3.

All the info you need is here:

good luck.....
