Default JDM B20?

I just got of the phone with HMO to set aside a B20 for me. But I was informed that all the JDM B20's are of the 8.8 compression ratio and do not include a knock sensor. If this is true, should I reconsider my swap options on my 90 Integra, or just look for a USDM B20Z?
