Default Intake manifold triva

Does anyone know if a B18C1 GSR (2-piece) Intake manifold will fit on a B16A II engine? and will the B16 throttle body fit or do i need a gsr throttle body?

thanks

The GSR mani has different bolt pattern than the b16/itr mani so unless you can modify it, then no to question number one.

I am not 100% sure on the second part so I wont say anything about it.

It will fit on a B16A block, if you keep the GSR head w/the int. manifold. Some minor modifications will need to be done since the B16A block is 7mm lower deck height than a B18C block. The GSR snail-shell int. manifold will bump into a few things since it would be sitting lower.

But no, the GSR int. manifold will not bolt up to any PR3 (b16) head, flange patterns are different.

Erick's Racing does it on their B18C/PR3 race motor... But they have a conversion plate to run the GSR snail manifold on the PR3 head... Personally I like that manifold the best out of all of OE manifold... I hate the IAB's tho... I always pull them... And i hate the stock P72 ECU... On a basically stock GSR with a CTR intake cam, and a stock ECU that thing first crosses over the VTEC too soon which bogs the motor then it still doesn't go to till ~5700 when the IAB's open up... I just remove them and run a chipped P28 or P30... I like that feel a lot better... Atleast the motor doesn't bog... Peace
