Default Innovative Cable to Hydro Question

I recently installed the Innovative Cable to Hydro conversion on my 89 Civic. The car has a B16 w/ Hydro tranny using Innovative's mounts. When I installed the setup, I snuggled the cable onto the adapter, without much tention. The clutch did not engage correctly, no problem, just tighten the cable up some more and the clutch began to engage correctly. Once this was done the car still does not go into gear as smoothly as I think it should, seems like the pedal must be practically forced through the floor to get a smooth dis-engage/shift. I called, Innovative but I didnt get anybody on the phone. (not their fault, everybody is busy from time to time.) Is there a go-by or particular tention that the clutch cable needs to be set at the get the correct engage/disengagement? I thought I would ask before I just went and started tightening everything more. If Innovative has some online instructions for this, that would be helpful too. Thanks for any help.
