Default ignition options

Background: 00 Si with 98+ JDM Type R swap

I need a new distributor. The options I'm considering are:

MSD setup: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MS...RA&prefilter=1 and http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-32349/ and http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-6420/

OR

Stock: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...S_786763623___ and some new wires (plugs are new)

Between those, I've heard good and bad things about MSD, the good being from a friend that races Honda Challenge with it and loves it. I've also seen on here that OEM is the way to go and leave it alone.

Basically I'm undecided and need some persuasion either way. I intend to order tomorrow as the car isn't running so hot (and it's my daily).
