Ignition Components
Recently a few honda-tech members suggested that I purchase OEM honda cap and rotor, OEM or NGK wires, and ngk plugs.
Basically my options to purchase the OEM parts are limited. I came across a thread posted by Len, who works for an Acura dealer in Ga and offers a 20% discount to H-T members on OEM Acura parts.
However, I have a connection at a local Honda dealer where I can get employee cost on Honda OEM parts through a sales guy from whom I bought my first Civic.
Anyway, I have a b18c1 swap in a 92 hatch and was wondering if there are differences b/n the ignition wires, cap and rotor from a 94 b18c1 and wires that I might be able to buy at a honda dealer (ie b16a wires, cap, rotor). Are these parts interchangeable, or is it necessary for me to buy specific wires, cap and rotor from Acura for the 94 b18c1.
Any advice would help. IF i can buy from honda I'd be able to save a little money.
