Default idle problems

Recently when i was driving my car, it seemed to stop running smoothly, it started idleing real low and the check engine light came on. At first I thought it was misfiring, and replaced the spark plugs, but it is still idleing really low, and dies everytime the car stops moving. When I start the car, it won't maintain an idle until i've driven for a bit. I am having trouble diagnosing this problem. Suggestions?

It is a 97 Civic dx with swapped 00 integra ls engine/99 gsr transmission.

when I changed the spark plugs, I noticed oil on the plug in cylinder four. I am seeing that this might be valve cover gaskets, would this also cause for rough idle?
What are the chances it could be head gasket?

if i notice coolant missing or overheating, then ya it could be ur HG. here is something to try. get a botle of fuel injection cleaner and spray it in ur intake while the car is running. clean it up good. then try and see if u can adjust the idle screw onthe TB. these guys tend to go loose.
