Default Ideal hybrid setup?

I'm planning on doing a hybrid for both auto-x and some but not as much dragging. This car will not regularly be driven on the road. But I am not sure what would be the best car to use, I am considering a CRX, an EG, or a EJ. Which one should have the best handling with a b20 engine in it? I am hoping to buy the car itself for under $1,250 (that's without the B20 of course)

Edit: I just found this "88 honda civic dx, hatch back, gold, not running, great 5 spd. trans, and clutch. Great Parts car. Needs engine work. $350 Firm"

Whatcha guys think?

Default Re: Ideal hybrid setup? (Prelussion)

I'm a little biased, but I'm gonna say go with an 88-91 hatch.
