Default Hybrids with HASport mounts...

**for those of you using HASport mounts with B series engines in 5th gen civic's**

do the these mounts lower the engine height when used in 5th gens? when i swapped my B18 into my civic, i put play-doh on the valve cover to see if the hood would have enough clearance to close and i had about a half inch of room.

my car is lowered and i have a JDM 4-1 header that hangs pretty low so sometimes it scrapes. i'm affraid that if i use HASport mounts it may make this problem even worse, if it does in fact lower the engine height.

The hasport B/D series kits for the EG/DC do not lower the engine at all, they leave it at stock height, or possibly a hair higher since they don't sag like the OEM mounts..

You'll be fine..
