Hybrid Help!!!!!
I am going to do my first hybrid project and wanted to know where I could find a 5th gen civic and what I need to look for. Also any general help, info, links, or anything that would help.
Thanks

Also if you could help me with pros and cons between a hybrid with a b16 and b18 engine. Plus what the parts and costs will be.
Thanks

If they are charging you that much for just the engine then run away run away...mine cost less than that with tranny, ecu, shiftlinkage, mounts and I got the rear disc conversion and front upgrade too.As far as pro's and con's there really are none, both motors enjoy heavy aftermarket support and are seperated by a few horses but the 16's are generally cheaper but 18's are also be had for a reasonable price.

Re: Hybrid Help!!!!! (ATXhybrid)
It sounds like they completely rebuild but who knows, according to the description on the first motor "turn key" implies it comes with everything needed to install and run in your car,but I would get clarification on that.

Re: Hybrid Help!!!!! (SuperCivic)
i found good deals at osakajdmmotors.com and the h22 engine. the question now is how much harder is the h22 to put into a 1992, 5th gen civic than the b16a

Re: Hybrid Help!!!!! (pennies_hatchie)
from what i have read all that needs to be done for the h22a swap is the motor mounts but noting to do with cutting, i have also read that it should be as easy as a b16a swap but does include some minor conversions. also wanted some help/tips from people that have already completed the h22a swap.
