So is a hybrid like... a car that runs on electricity... If I fly a kite and it gets ZAPED by lightning, and hit the key that would start a hybrid... would it power it up to go?

....a hybrid is 2 different engines basically mounted together, for example, a b18 block with a b16 head, or a k24 block with a k20 head. thats why cars such as the toyota prius is known as a hybrid because it has 2 different power sources, the gas engine and the electric engine. if theres a car that runs soely on electric power, its not a hybrid because it has one power source
