i need some help with this, i finished my swap of an obd I b18c into my 98 civic and i used a skunk2 conversion harness to put in from an obd II to a I and i need to know where and how you check it for codes. i want to clear up the engine light prob before i put the turbo on.

i am getting tired of looking at the drag 3 kit sit on my floor in my room.

on the kick panel on the right hand side of your car which i am sure you already know is a green rubber boot. in it you should find a plug. take a pin put it in there go from one side to the other.

with the car off put the ignition to the on acc position. when you do this your srs light will flash.

long flashes are that number times 10. like 9 long flashes 90 or evap systems failure etc etc.

all the short flashes are that exact number

so like 1 long 2 short is 12.

if you have more than one code it will pause then throw some more codes.

any questions im me, i have a COMPLETE list of the obd1 ob2 codes for the ecu.

hope that helps.

ps skunk2 wiring harness just uses all the obd2 pinouts and minimizes them to the obd1. obd2 has more wires and sensors, some of them are eliminated and some of them are spliced into others so you can adapt the obd1 ecu and motor.

it will still throw codes.

go standalone!!
