Default HMO questions

OK, when ordering a ITR motor from HMO, do I get to choose what year motor? I want a '01 that's clean as hell. Or do they just send me whatever? Also, are cleaner/newer motors more? Just trying to get an idea before I give them a call. Oh yeah, one last question...do they ship to your door? Thanks ya'll.

hey, to answer your question, you can special request anything that you would like. Of course, the better the product, usually the more it costs. Im sure steve will be more then willing to help you out, but you will have to wait longer for a "clean as hell motor" Also, dont get carried away. Ive seen 1998 spec motors that are in way better condition then a 2000 spec. Just because its newer year, doesnt mean better product. Steve doesnt even bother importing crappy type R swaps, so really you cant loose.

but if you really want a 2001, just ask and im sure for the right price, you can have one.

and yup, he ships to your door, and his shipping quotes are actually cheaper then alot of other companies.

When I call, do I have to ask for Steve, or do I have to deal with someone else? How did you guys do it? Thanks.

Haha this is an ironic thread, any ITR motor newer than 97 will cost around $5000 depending on miles and condition. I am in the exact same boat as you kevin. I am about to order a ITR motor from steve and called him with the same questions recently. I was about to order a 98 JDM ITR swap with 23,000 miles but I needed more money. He is great and will work with you. Also he said he is having a really tuff time getting USDM ITR swaps because of the price and rarity of the car. Good luck and you better not get a better motor than me.

No, the guy that answers will be Steve. If the phone just rings, keep on it...he'll answer eventually
