Default HELP Shiftlinkage/shift fork is messed up!

Well I got a gsr swap in my hatch an when we did the swap the shift fork/or shift rod whatever you call it was put on backwards. So like my shifter sits further back so like nutral feels like its in 4th gear. But yeah well i went to the track this week an ran 1/8th mile an after everyone i could feel my shifter feeling softer an softer after everyrun, like it could slip into gear so easy an i dont like the feeling of it. Like my whole shifter feels loose now, like i can have my car in 4th gear an drive around an while driving i could push my shifter all the way up into the 1st gear position but it will still be in 4th. So someone told me its a bad bitch pen,or shifter bushings, or i lost a few bolts while i was running the car at the track. Like i can pull upwards on my shiftnob, an let go of it an it will drop back down an i hear a cling sound like metal against metal, an it rattles from shifter hitting my exhaust.
Oh yeah sometime when driving, i can drive normal an when i go to put car in 2nd it feels like its in 2nd gear but its not in. So i have to push in clutch pop it out of 2nd gear an put it back in then i can drive. Its like the car goes into nutral or 2nd gear isnt there..that also happened after i ran car at the track.
