Okay I just put a obd1 d15b into my 96 hatch. We used my stock dx harness and modified all of the wiring to get it to work. The engine turns over no problem and idles perfectly. But it only wants to rev to like 2000 rpms. My mechanic sprayed some airfilter cleaner into the intake manifold while reving it and it reved up like a champ. Timming is good, plugs are good, injectors are good. It judt doesnt want to rev and missis alot when you try too. I am using the original p08 ecu with a jumper harness. But we are using my stock dx oxygen sensor which is 4 wires. the original motor used a 1 wire o2 sensor. Could this be the problem? If the p08 was programed to read a 1 wire o2 sensor could the stock dx o2 sensor be throwing off the air ful mixture? need some advice asap thanx.
