Default help this noobie>>>>choice of engine

i have a 97 integ and plannin on an engine swap but don't kno which engine to go for if i want power and value( the most important things is that i don't kno if it fits)

all comes wit complete swap (thatz what they said)
h22a>$1850>200hp>prelude
b18c5>$4200>195hp>type-r
b18c1>2800>170hp>gsr

one look at it tells me go for the h22a but does it fit into my integ and if so what do i need. will my car be fast if i have a h22a or a b18c1 becuz of the weight differences
thanx!

My opinion is the C5 if budget allows,C1 is cheaper but still a good choice.

If i had your Integra, I would probably turbo the motor. The next choice would be to build the motor into an LSVTEC. The B18B has potential that some people don't take into consideration. Having said that, if you are dead set on a swap and the $ is good, I would say B18C5. Next choice would be a B18C1 and then H22A lastly due to the extra modifications, motor mount kit, etc.

go with the h22 , it is not as hard as evryone makes it out to be, and the mods to get it in ther eare not that extensive.you will be faster with this then all of the other swaps stock to stock!

if youve got an LS integra, id go turbo, or if you're wanting to go n/a use the money from the swap you're wanting to get to build up your ls. but id say if you really want a swap, get the itr engine, or gsr.
