Default HELP!

My friend is going to drop a b18b into his 95 civic coupe dx: and my question is can he use his stock civic dx fuel rail and injectors. This is a 98 ls engine with a obd 1 ecu. Thanks in advance.

Isn't the DX dual-point fuel injection? Meaning only two injectors?

Didn't the engine come with fuel injectors? That would be kind of shady if it didn't.

We were actually were there when the guy pulled the motor out of the car. He charged my friend $2000 for the whole swap, but the engine had a aem fuel rail and the guy wanted to keep it along with the injectors. However, he did throw in some new aem cam sprockets. The engine only had 36,000 miles so it wasn't a shady deal we knew what we were getting. I was just wondering if the stock injectors from the dx engine would work with the ls motor, if they don't then he'll have to get some injectors then. Thanks for the reply raenshadow.

I'd suggest calling Honda and Acura separately to find out the flow rates on the injectors. I believe all the injectors are of the same configuration and flow rate (280cc) so that shouldn't be a problem, but like I said, if the DX is dual-point fuel injection then you'll be short a couple of injectors.

I'm not sure on the info I just gave, though. DEFINITELY check around before taking my word for it.

You will need to buy injectors I would not use a set of DX injectors on a B series, let alone if they will even work which I believe they will not but I could be wrong.

I did the swap by myself in my coupé dx 94 with OBD-I ECU... the injector are the same and the swap are very easy to do. You can use it with no problem at all !!
