Header Compatability
Has anyone or does anyone know if a GSR header with work with any other B-Series ?
Ex: JG Header from ('95)GSR into a LS (same year) ....
Will it "bolt" up to the studs at the ex. mani side ?
Thanks.

Well, that's not a concern on how short it is near the cat ....
As long as any "aftermartket" GSR header fits an LS engine, it's all peachy.

Again that was not the concern .... Only the bolts at the Exhaust side where header bolts up to.

yes because they are stock thats why. A GSR header will bolt on but yes it will be too short. Why do you want a GSR header?? the blocks are different, why not just put like i hate saying this... a DC sport LS 4-2-1 or 4-1 header on there?

Re: (syndicate43)
The headers are different... As stated the GSR is shorter and doesn't have a port for the primary oxygen sensor... A collar can be welded in so it really isn't that big of a deal... As for you syndicate43 I don't know how you managed to bolt the an GSR header to a LS cat without modifying something... There is a few inch difference... Though the OE LS doesn't flow as well as the GSR it is nice because it has the primary oxygen sensor port which is useful when you wanna run open header... LS = USDM ITR in length and angle... However the ITR still flows better... If you do a B18C swap or even have a Teg that you are swapping out the exhaust on I always recommend just getting an ITR/LS header to begin with... Having the oxygen sensor port welded in is just a pain in the ***... Just my $0.02.. Latez

I know for a FACT that the LS and GSR headers have different length B pipes. I own both a 96 B18B1 motor in my 91 CRX and a 99 B18C1 in my 92 VX. Both cars had the exhausts desinged for each motors factory header. The headers are interchangeable block wise, but the GSR header comes up a few inches short of meeting the cat. converter flange on the CRX with LS motor. And no I'm not being a dick I'm stating the truth

Right ON -- Thanks for the insight on the headers at the BLOCK mounting side.
-- I didn't care about lengths near the CAT... I allready knew this much.... I have an LS exhaust w/headers on a EG-Hatch.
