Default hcp engine mouont problem

i have the eg-22 kit and its worked pretty well overall.
right now though my rear mount is noticeably off center, i blieve it always has been because i had noticed some damage on the bushing in it on the passenger side.
today i took a look at it and its abou 1/4 inch off center with the bushing complete pushed out towards tha driver side.
i had seen in the archives that other people had similaar problems. has anyone found a solution to this? is it a mount problem or a problem with the install? It has been suggested that I try and slide the crossmember slightly towqards the drivers side to recenter the mount, but that still leaves me with a torn up bushing...i am actually considering filling it to be a solid mount now....anyway if anyone has suggested resolutions im all ears....

I have the same problem... the only remedy is to talk to Newman and get the revised version that moves the motor toward the pass side about 1/4-1/2. Talk to Newman.

if it rubbing on the pass side then the motor sits like mine.... to far towards the driver side, and according to what you wrote you have the same problem I do.

yeah the bushing is pushed almost all the way through towards the driver side, it really sucks cause now im afraid of the engine movement not being controlled at all, and right now this is the only car i have to drive.
are they sending you a replacement mount or what?

It's fine to drive like that... I've been driving like this for almost a year now. Eventually you will need to upgrade to the new mounts.
