H2B Misconceptions
So, I have read Amys(mostly), steve0s (mostly), and Skunked's (all, every post, down to spooned callin harv and mat ********). However, Im absolutely brand new to the tuning scene. I have just a few questions about this swap and if yall could answer them, it would be immensley helpful.
1. Can I avoid messing with the drivers side frame rail and still make clearance?
2. I know I need b-series drivetrain, so, can I use the shift linkage and axles from the 93 hatch?
3. If I buy the alternator from a D series, the alt bracket from explicit speed, the kit from qsd, the gsr tranny, a new clutch, the hasport mounts, have the p/s machined off the crank pulley, and get a h22a longblock, is that all I need?
4. If I get the skunk2 TB and an oil catch can (to eliminate pcv valve) would that help my hood clearance issues?
5. For a DD should balance shaft eliminator kit be bought? Would it help with clearance issues?
Question 2 and 3 are the ones I need answered most; especially 3 as I still am a little lost on a full list of parts.
-Thanks in advance for any help

1)Yes you can, the qsd kit gives in structions on what has to be done on the crank side. I also took my crank pulley to a machine shop and had it ground down and balanced to a single pulley. You have to be creative with the alternator if its staying in the stock location.
2) D series shift linkage and axles will not work. To my knowledge only b series axles (integra ls, type r, gsr, delsol vtec, 99-00 civic si) will work and only integra (94-00) and civic si (99-00) will work. If you have a sel sol only del sol vtec shift linkage will work unless you like cutting a nd bending.
3)no you need stuff like a new fuel rail, custom work done to the exhaust manifold, p13 ecu or chipped p28, wiring changes, umm Pm me on that I gotta think about what I had to buy after the fact.
4)I had no pvc valve and it didn't help my hood clearance. I guy on here cut and rewelded his valve cover (made it slimmer) and that worked out really well. I did PM him about it and it seamed easy but I sold my set up before I got a chance to try it.
5)For a daily driver I have no idea. I just pulled off the balancer belt and pulleys and left the shafts in. It seamed fine.
If you have any more questions PM me and I will try to answer them. Do take a good look at the thread the guy above me posted to get a good Idea of what your getting yourself into.

Re: (rebo0t)
you'll need a 90-93 Accord fuel rail, because the fuel line is on the pass. side compared to a H22 fuel rail that has it on the driver side.... Or just get a longer fuel line
#6
so any 90-93 accord rail would work? i'm confused because i thought all prelude/accord rails are the same? as far as aftermarket goes
so which rails exactly is needed?
so which rails exactly is needed?

Re: (88ED8)
Sorry, I should have been more detailed. I meant to say that either an aftermarket fuel rail with hook-ups on both sides or a 90-93 accord will work. I chose an aftermarket because they were cheap at like $80.
If you look through the pages on the H2B FAQ thread. I believe user lightcrx did the slimmer valve cover modification.
