Default h2b evo kit question

So I recently purchased an evo h2b kit that was in an EG hatch, I am planning on swapping it into my ek hatch. The kit came with no mounts. Now, half of the post I have read say that you HAVE to use evo mounts and the other half say you can use any B series mounts but it will just raise the motor. I already have Hasport b Mounts so if I don't need to buy another set I want to know.

Thanks.

tl;dr can you use any 96-00 b series mount with the evo kit. Clearance does not matter.

so by evo you mean evolution?

96-00 civic transmisson mounts are different than 92-95 civic

you will need a bracket for the driver side mount to work in the 96-00 civic

Lol ironic that hasport got back to me before evolution did.

To clarify I have 96-00 civic mounts (hasport) with an evolution h2b adapter plate. The bracket for the post mount was included (was on 92-95 civic)

Can you use the evolution plate with non-evolution motor mounts?

note: From evo usa's product catalog I am seeing only one post mount for 92-00 civics.
