Default H22a reliable enough?

I've been hearing that in comparison to a b-series, the h22a is not as adequate in the reliability category. Is this accusation accurate? Furthermore, I am to be driving my vehicle year round, which means harsh Alberta winters, so is it realistic to put an h22a in, or any swap for that matter?

I would say it will be as realiable as a HONDA motor. Are prelude reliable--yes so I would think their motor in another car is reliable if taken care of properly. I mean it will be more reliable than a frankenstein LS/VTEC thats for sure. As for compared to B-Series motor---i could say they are not as revved as high to produce power therefore less wear and tear on engine--this is for daily driving.

For racing---well that's the risk that we all take.

everything on here is pretty much RUMORS RUMORS RUMORS.

only engine vibration can come from your mounts, everyone knows this.

depends on what mount kit you are using and if you are using a drag mount kit.

HCP, HASport and Place Racing mounts have vibration because they are very stiff mounts for drag.

HCP (I have seen so far) has the most vibration compared to HASport. I do not know as for Place Racing though.

for HASport, there is VERY minor vibration and even the slightest, i love the mounts.

yeah.. my mounts feel pretty smooth too... (place racing) straight bolt on.. no mods needed. engine sits real good too.. nicely positioned. looks factory..
maybe they wanted it like that huh? or i'm just good?... ehheheh
