Im trying to ref my H22 civic anybody have any suggestions on tips , i live in the Chico Ca area i just got the car, from what i know it has the stock EJ harness i just bought a usdm p13 to help on the ref and im using a stock intake filter box from the orig 1.6 engine can i use it ?...ps anybody know how the refs are at butte college.

 

If the motor is "JDM", you aren't going to get ref'd or BAR'd. Period.

That being said, with how frequently the laws change, and how unique everyone's "build" ultimately ends up being, the best thing for you to do is drive down to or call your local station and talk to them.

 

so if i try to bar and ref my h22 and it fails ...my question is , is it going to send something to DMV to cancel my current Reg?

 

Just call them and ask some questions.
