H22a bogging out :(
Whats up guys i have a h22a swap in my ej1. Just recently it staeted bogging out and loosing power. I could tell right when i started my car something was wrong because it sounded really weird. I just did an oil change with 10w30 fully synthetic mobile 1 and an oil filter about 500 miles ago and i only run 91 octane.
So heres what it does. Really low idle at stops almost dies and it usually idles around 1000 rpms. It feels realy sluggish all the way to 3000 rpms then is normal until about 4000 rpms and gets sluggish again. At WOT it is not responsive at all and sounds terrible almost like its drowning or something. The check engine light comes on until i turm the car off and then i turn it back on and code is gone. I have obd1 ecu so i cant check codes with car on. Idk what to do !!!! Someone please help. Im going to replace spark plugs and wires to ngk soon but idk if thats it. Its weirs because this problem happens sporadically and now its almost like full time sluggish. Any help would be great. Thanks guys !!!!

Re: H22a bogging out :(
You can read cel with car on just jump two pin connector and start the car .while parked just rev the engine and see if you can get it to set the cel if so it will flash out to you as long as the connector is jumped
