H22A in in 94 CX. its kinda hard to start but when its started it idles fine except it throws a check engine light. i tried to get the code but it doesnt show anything. i already double checked the wiring for the O2, MAP, EGR, and injectors. i also checked the injectors and they all are clicking. i also checked the vaccum lines. we tried to check the timing but we couldnt find the timing marks. thanks for any help.
you are not pulling the codes if it's throwing any...
is it in limp mode? being it idles fine, but bogs to hell when driving it?
pull the codes....
you can do that by getting a paperclip, bending it into a "U" shape, and stick it in a GREEN harness on the passenger side just under the dash (right above the ecu).
There will be 2 harnesses inside the service connector, one has 3 wires in it, and the other has 2.
Stick the paperclip into the one that has 2, turn the car on the ON switch, and watch how many times the CEL blinks...
one long blink = 10
one quick blink = 1
Example
two long blinks and 3 short blinks = 23.
and reply of what codes are showing and we'll get 'em fixed.
hope that helps

the way that always worked for me was to turn the car off, then jump the service connector, and turn the ignition back on. i ended up just jumping it while still running and got the code. i got 5 for MAP and 12 for EGR. The EGR had a bad ground and i had 2 of the 3 MAP wires swapped. cleared it and it runs fine. thanks anyway poison.

So to my understanding you have your EGR hooked up??yeah egr is hooked up. it idles fine, no cel's, and it pulls hard through all gears. this was my first H22 swap so it was a nice learning experience
what exactly do you have hooked up to not throw the cel for egr?

How did you hook it up without the solenoid valve?? Or you just connected up the lift sensor alone??
