Default h22 p2v question

i have a 97 usdm h22, i will be stroke-n-it soon with the f22 crank and rods. what i wanna know is that if the piston is 0.020 out of the hole will i run into p2v clearance problems running type s cams?? will i have to fly cut the pistons or run a head shim that is 0020 thick?

There's only one real way to tell, check it yourself.

I think as there are variables involved it is always best to clay the engine yourself to be sure. I'm doing the same with Mahle 11.5cr pistons and stock head. I know it will be ok, but want to make sure for myself lol

first if you are doing a 95mm stroker you should be using the f22 rods and h22 pistons and it should not come out the deck a h23 is a h22 block with f22 internals wich consists of a 95mm crank with matching rods

zeal auto werks compression states it will stick out 0.020,
h23 or f22 rods... ive changed my mind, i am just doing a type s build with a tad more compression and cam will be assembling my motor tonight
